Business Need / Purpose of Role

Provides assembly and testing of various mechanical components.

Objectives & Measurement - Key Responsibilities

Objectives:

  • Process incoming wellhead & frac equipment start to finish
  • Able to accept equipment from delivery,  load equipment for delivery, complete all associate paperwork, process Seaboard paperwork, and deliver notes (without supervision)
  • Prepare all reports as per Seaboard Standards Process All Seaboard Customer Requirements Perform Pressure Testing
  • Basic Understanding of all Seaboard Equipment
  • Perform All Duties of Service Technician II
  • Install and pressure test Wellhead & Frac Assemblies on Customer locations
  • Assist Pressure Test All Seaboard & Customers Wellhead and Frac requirements complete related Pressure Test Reports
  • Assist Service Technicians Check Wellhead & Frac Equipment IN & OUT Driving Duties as assigned Inventory Incoming Frac & Wellhead Equipment
  • Knowledge of Seaboard Products and Customer Requirements
  • Responsible for painting components per customer specifications
  • Provides proper care and maintenance of all shop tools, equipment, and work area
  • Assists with customers as needed
  • Monitors daily work activities to ensure requirements are met

Job Knowledge / Education and Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

High School diploma or general education diploma (GED); with five and / or years training; or equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.  Bachelor’s Degree or Technical School Diploma in a technical field preferred.

 

Language Skills:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

 

Mathematical:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

 

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to interpret schematic drawings, procedure changes, and work orders.

 

Other Skills:

Must have mechanical aptitude.

 

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand and reach with hands and arms.  The employee must frequently lift and /or move up to 50 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include, close, distance, colour and peripheral vision.

 

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions.  The nose level in the work environment is usually moderate.  Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including steel toed safety shoes and safety glasses are required in most areas of the facility.
