The Cost Controls Officer will assist in the project implementation and report generation of the project management department. He/She will provide overall cost control and schedule support, monitoring and analysis on one or more major complex projects.

Education/Experience: Preferably in Business Administration or Industrial Engineering Technology. CPA or CMA designation. 5 years of experience in cost control and analysis on construction or industrial product projects. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification would be an asset.
Interpersonal skills: The job requires providing and obtaining specific information in order to understand the needs of the other party and provide appropriate explanations. Obtains and provides information to understand client’s needs.
Autonomy: The incumbent works within the boundaries of clear objectives and is subject to performance assessment. He/she interprets his/her latitude, obtains the necessary guidelines and adapts work methods, procedures or techniques to perform the assigned work. Exceptional situations are resolved with the guidance of a resource person. Computer Skills: Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Proficient use in working with the company MRP/ERP systems and MS Outlook
