    Business Need / Purpose of Role

    Carries out buffing rubber processes according to standard safety procedures. 

    Objectives & Measurement - Key Responsibilities

    Including but not limited to:

    • Grind rubber on pipes, tanks, pumps with air tools
    • Operate forklift and overhead crane
    • Other duties may be assigned.

    Job Knowledge / Education and Qualifications

    Education and/or Experience:

    High School diploma. 

     

    Language Skills:

    Ability to interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular interaction possible without strain for either party. Can produce clear, detailed text on a wide range of subjects and explain a viewpoint on a topical issue giving the advantages and disadvantages of various options.

     

    Mathematical Skills:

    Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

     

    Reasoning Ability:

    Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

     

    Other Skills:

    Must have thorough knowledge of reading and understanding blueprints as well as knowledge of measurement tools (e.g. tape measure, square, calipers).

     

    Physical Demands:
