We are currently seeking an Account Manager for our Rotating Equipment services group. This is unique role that requires an individual with superior communication and facilitation skills.
This position is not only is responsible for developing relationships with current and potential customers, but must have the ability to identify opportunites and solutions for our customers. Relying on our strong technical team and service centers, they will then facilitate solutions and liase between internal and external customers.

The preferred candidate will possess a combination of the following:
• Business or technical degree required or 4 years related experience and/or training in an industrial environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to comprehend and interpret engineering drawings, quality systems requirements and customer specifications
• Ability to understand component requirements and communicate requirements to operations
• Experience with multiple facets of manufacturing of components (machining, welding etc.)

The incumbent will demonstrate the ability to develop effective customer relationships at multiple levels and with multiple functions within accounts. The candidate will be the voice of the key accounts within Weir Oil & Gas Pressure Pumping and will be committed to meeting the expectations of those customers.
The incumbent will demonstrate a strong understanding of how our business and the business of our accounts work. They will have an understanding of the business practices and trends within both Weir Oil & Gas Pressure Pumping and that of the accounts. Further, they will understand how strategies and tactics work within the Pressure Pumping market place.
Functional & Technical Skills:
The incumbent should possess strong technical and application skills for oil field service pumps, flow iron and other related equipment. They should demonstrate proven sales skills within the oil & gas industry.
